The first point of contact is your front page. This can make or break you. You have to capture the interest of both new and returning visitors.

There are at least four essentials every "home" page needs.

1. Prominent, Global Navigation.

2. Search Facility

3. Branding (Your Logo needs to be on every page).

4. Content Bits leading users to explore further.

August Affect Web Design Launches laurelllewellins.com

Laurel Llewellin Setters was in need of a web site to showcase their beautiful hunting dogs and their litter of pups.

The design features tableless css, two-column fixed-width presentation with simple navigation and a complimentary color scheme.. Fast loading, optimized photos show off the dogs. Veiw Laurel Mt. Llewellin's website! The design is clean-cut and simple and validates XHTML STRICT 1.0 and CSS.

Future enhancements to the laurelllewellins.com site include more photos of the dogs hunting, possible video clips, forms, more suggested links, and details of the progress of the training of the puppies.
