Payment Terms

  • August Affect Normal Design Fees: $65.00 per hour
  • August Affect Normal Updating/Maintenance (no programming) Fees: $45.00 per hour.
  • Programming (Flash, PHP, etc.) Fees: $75.00 per hour


Terms:

Website Design/Redesign:
  • 50% of proposal is due upon agreement between August Affect Design and client to begin work.
  • No work will begin until payment is received.
  • The balance of contract is due upon completion of contracted work and before site goes live.
  • Projects over $6,000.00 are termed: 50% down, the balance paid in 3 installment payments with final payment due upon completion of work and before final upload of files to server.

Maintenance Package Terms:

  • Maintenance packages are available by contract only.
  • The contract is for one-year.
  • 3 months of monthly contracted amount are payable at the onset of contract.
  • You will be invoiced monthly thereafter. Invoices are due immediately. 9 months into the contract (with 3 months left) you will have the option of renewing the contract.
  • If you choose to renew, you will continue to be invoiced monthly. If you decide not to renew at that time, you will not be invoiced for the remaining 3 months of the contract.
All Work Terms/Conditions:
  • If you don’t make payment we will stop working on your project until you do.
  • Accounts overdue thirty days are suspended, considered terminated and may be subject to service interruption and account blocking.
  • Accounts overdue 90 days are removed from our servers and turned over for collection.
  • There is a $25 fee to restore blocked or suspended accounts.
  • Accounts removed from our servers for nonpayment will not be restored.
  • Accounts that are consistently overdue or have been suspended may be required to pay annually.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service any client for any reason.
  • There is a $40 fee for checks returned by the bank for any reason.
  • You are responsible for backing up your data. We cannot be responsible for data loss.
